LinkedIn Engagement Outbound

Your market tells you who is shopping, in public, every day. This works that list.

Firmographics tell you who could buy. Someone reacting to a post about the problem tells you who is thinking about it this week. This agent watches the posts your market engages with, pulls the reactors and the commenters off every new one, scores them against your ICP before it spends anything on enrichment, and stages what fits into HeyReach, Instantly, AgentMail or your own Gmail. Starting the campaign is yours.

We run this on ourselves.

One account, eight weeks, running the recipe on this page. No baseline, no projection, no cherry-picked campaign. Here is the dashboard, and the numbers read off it.

Outbound dashboard for 1 July to 24 August 2026: 1,582 connections sent, 985 accepted (62.3%), 866 leads messaged, 312 replied (36%), 179 flagged interested, and a daily activity chart across the whole window.

03// step by step

Four steps to your first sequenced list.

  1. 1

Tell it what you sell, once

It writes its own LinkedIn searches from that, in the language your buyers post in rather than the language your industry sells in. Vendor jargon surfaces posts that other vendors engage with, which is how a list fills up with people who will never buy. Every term is remembered for 14 days, so no two runs repeat.

your buyers → the phrases they post under
“we sell to CPG retail ops”
shelf resetcategory review#shoppermarketing+3 more · none reused for 14 days
  2. 2

It pulls the reactors and the commenters

Off every new post worth reading. Anyone already in your table is dropped at the source, not at send time. The rest get a real profile, a company, and a verified email where one exists, with the post that surfaced them sitting on the row.

    the people who engaged

» new · VP Growth, Halloway · email verified

» new · Head of Retail, Mesa Co · linkedin only

    » skipped · 27 already contacted

  3. 3

    Scored before it spends anything

The ICP check runs before enrichment, so you never pay to enrich people who were never going to qualify. What clears the bar is staged into the one lane you picked: a HeyReach campaign, an Instantly list, an AgentMail thread, or a Gmail draft. The campaign stays stopped.

  4. 4

    Replies feed the next run

Accepted connections and replies land back on the same rows. Before each run it asks which search phrases produced leads that actually got answered, and writes more like those. Week four sources better than week one.

»After the first win, make it a habit: the skill offers the always-on version, a small hosted runner on a schedule, so the workflow fires with your laptop closed. The cadence is always confirmed with you first.
